Tidying and sweeping

ON Monday, Robin Barclay was spotted out with his shovel and brush, clearing away the sand and seaweed thrown up by the previous night’s high seas. Robin also keeps an eye on the steep path leading from Castle Street to the Bervie Braes.

Meanwhile, the Horizon Group outing this week took the volunteers to the area around the train station, where Doug and Gordon took on the back breaking work of clearing the leaves from the path and steps.
Not all litter is accessible, but the pickers retrieved as much litter as they could safely reach from in the bushes, some barbarous.
