Different coastal defences in action
There has been much discussion in Stonehaven of late about the coastal flooding consultation and the options presented. Some locals are calling for further consultation.
JBA Trust are a charity that aims to enhance understanding and management of risks in the water environment by enabling research, education and training.
The trust is one part of the JBA Group that includes JBA Consulting, who prepared the options for Stonehaven’s coastal flood defences.

Following a consultation in January, a short list of schemes for Stonehaven was presented to the town last month.
