THE riverside footpath from the Green Bridge to the Carronhall footpath will close on Thursday for six months.
The closure is to enable the flood works – which are a source of interest to many passing pedestrians.
So if the closure means you will miss being able to keep an eye on progress, then a series of webcams may be the solution. They offer phased time lapse images, with photographs taken every five minutes.
Three are in place:
One at the Beach Bridge
One looking down on the site of the White Bridge
One at the Green Bridge, looking down stream
