From Stonehaven Business Association –
THE Stonehaven Business Association are delighted to have been successful in their bid for the Scotland’s Towns Partnership “Towns’ Resilience & Recovery Fund” to expand and develop their Stunning Stonehaven website with the addition of a community hub mobile app alongside a “shop local” campaign.
They have been awarded £12,000 for the app development and maintenance plus associated marketing.
SBA committee member and Stunning Stonehaven administrator, Dawn Black said, “With the Covid-19 crisis, the SBA recognise the need to rebuild our Stunning Stonehaven strategies for the new future of the local economy.
”We know there is a need to focus on our local residents and their businesses as well as visitors needs, looking after and serving our community.
”With the new mobile app and website expansion we will extend our reach to include local community groups, sporting groups, social services and local authority information, transport links, churches and faiths to name but a few.
”It will be a powerful tool to communicate with and supply information to residents and visitors, no matter how long or short their stay.
”The app will interact with and enhance the function of all existing websites of groups and information providers, creating a user-friendly one-stop-shop for all things Stonehaven with all local information just a click away.”
