From the latest KDP bulletin –
Flexible Wellbeing Fund
Tackling Poverty & Inequalities Aberdeenshire are offering financial support and signposting to anyone currently living in Aberdeenshire.
They will be providing funding directly to individuals and families, currently living in Aberdeenshire and facing financial difficulty. They can provide financial support with essential household expenses, consumables, and employment support.
You don’t need to be in receipt of benefits to access our fund: it’s there for anyone who needs support and you won’t be asked to prove your income. The process is not intrusive: your dignity and privacy is respected.
Here are the steps you need to follow to apply:-
Step 1: Complete an online expression of interest. If you don’t have access to the internet, or would like support with the form, you can contact them directly by calling: 01356 630349
Step 2: Your application will be anonymously raised at their weekly funding meeting. This meeting includes reps from Progress in Dialogue, Aberdeenshire Council and Tackling Poverty & Inequalities.
Step 3: If you’re successful in your request for funding, one of their team will then contact you to discuss payment.
Step 4: We ask that those supported through the fund take part in a short telephone call or email exchange to let us know how the funding has impacted them.
