Pool and Pothole Update for Community Council

REPRESENTATIVES of the sports and leisure wing of the council will address members of Stonehaven and District Community Council when they meet on Tuesday evening.

The visit by officers of Live Life Aberdeenshire was proposed by Cllr Dennis Robertson at the last meeting of SDCC – when community councillors expressed anger at the planned closure of the Mackie Academy swimming pool. Mr Robertson said the officers could describe their plans for the future of leisure facilities in the town.

And a subject dear to many drivers’ hearts – potholes – is also down for discussion. The meeting starts at 7pm on Tuesday evening. The full agenda is as follows:
