A beautiful sunny evening saw perfect conditions for the final of the Palmer Trophy at Stonehaven Bowling Club contested by two Stonehaven BC pairs.
A game of two halves saw Bruce Corstorphine and Eddie Taylor storm ahead. However a change of length and the mat being brought up saw Graeme Penny and Ian Howie soon catch up and overtake them finally winning 18 -14.
The beautiful trophy was presented by President Jean Houghton.
