From Marilyn Cusine –

Stonehaven Choral are holding their spring concert in St. James Church, Arbuthnott Street, Stonehaven, on Sunday 22nd May at 7.30pm.

This will be our first spring concert since 2019 as others have had to be postponed like so many things due to covid restrictions, so we are greatly looking forward to performing once again.

Under the leadership of our musical director, Ralph Jamieson, the choral are singing Requiem No.1 in C minor by Cherubini and Chandos  Anthem No.2 by Handel.

The choir will be accompanied by organist Peter Shepherd who is assistant organist at Paisley Abbey and by local musicians, namely violinists Andrew and Emily Birse and cellist Ali Macdonald.

Christian Schneeberger, tenor, who has previously sung with the choral will be performing the solos in the Chandos Anthems.

Tickets priced £15 ( under 16 free ) are available from members and at the door on the night
