Last Farmers’ Market of 2022

By Stonehaven Mens Shed / November 30, 2022

Next weekend sees the final Farmers’ Market of 2022. Alongside the market stalls Stonehaven Men’s Shed will be in attendance displaying and selling a grand assortment of Christmas themed decorations made from recycled wood etc by the shedders.

The Market has evolved since the relaxation of the “C” rules to a place where friends meet up and have a blether and it has been good to see this happening after the enforced “separation” brought on by the quarantine rules. It’s just as well that there are a couple of places around the Square that are open, allowing people to have a cuppa with their blether, if they so wish. The Royal British Legion is open on Saturday morning offering tea/coffee and “fancy pieces” as well as Pinky Promise and Nicky’s.

It looks to be a busy market with Gordon Milne and his beautiful Christmas wreaths on sale with the full complement of traders selling their fresh traditional and vertecultured vegetables, beef, pork, venison, Kombucha health drinks, party drinks, shortie, fudges, choccie-woccie-doo-dahs, doggie treats, fine teas & dried fruits, gluten and dairy free chocolate, fish and shellfish, hot sauces and relishes, vegan bakes, honeys and honey based bakes, delicious pies, cheeses etc etc.

The market is open for trading at 0900 and closes at 1300. The stewards from Stonehaven Men’s Shed will be on hand to advise and assist where necessary.

So please come down and give the market your custom and support.

We look forward to welcoming you this Saturday morning.
