Less Single Use Plastic

SUCH is the aim of a group of Stonehaven residents spearheaded by Surfers Against Sewage.

In their efforts to gain plasic free accreditation, the community group have launched a new Facebook page – Plastic Free Stonehaven – an want to work with all members of our community to reduce the use of single use plastics in our town.

Beach cleans

To help reach their goals, Plastic Free Stonehaven are running monthly beach cleans on the first Saturday of each month.

The first one is on Saturday , 4th February 10am – 12pm. All are welcome. If you’d like to join in, meet at the Craws Nest at 10am. All equipment will be provided but if you have your own gloves and/or litter picker please bring them along.
