The Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm Community Fund opens for applications on 1 April
2023 until 30 June 2023.
Applications to the fund can be made from groups and projects which benefit the
communities living in the community council areas of:
- Arbuthnott
- Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar
- Mearns
- Stonehaven & District
Fern Community Funds, the energy company who maintains the Hillhead of Auquhirie
Wind Farm fund, will support local community projects during the 25-year lifetime of
the wind farm. This year there is £13,150.57 available for distribution.
A panel made up of representatives from the community council areas along with a
representative (non-voting) from Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP) will
then meet to consider applications.
