BEFORE I list planning applications made in the past two or three weeks, I’d like to use this as an opportunity to call for anyone who would like to join the volunteer team at The Bellman.

So if you are interested in Stonehaven life, and would be happy to help keep tabs on what is going on in the town – with an eye for plain facts – then please do get in touch via news@thebellman.co.uk

The effort made to provide a decent news source is being rewarded by good reading figures – our monthly average so far for this year is just over 14,000 unique site visitors, with a peak of 19,738 in April. When there is news to report, people are interested.

Meanwhile, having returned from a lovely, sunny two weeks in Greece, I can report the following planning applications were made in my absence – including Tesco’s application for new signage at the current Co-operative unit at Kirkton Road.

Full information on each of the applications, along with a facility to comment, can be found by using the links.
