Street dance fans are in for a show-stopping extravaganza as Rhythm National Dance & Fitness School announces its biggest ever shows at Aberdeen’s P&J Live on Saturday 14th September 2024.

A matinee and an evening show will see dancers perform street dance, lyrical and ballet numbers from numerous live action and animated movie classics, such as Dirty Dancing, Flashdance and Despicable Me.

Having outgrown other city venues in Aberdeen, Rhythm Nation has made the move to North Scotland’s largest event venue, P&J Live, in order to accommodate its 300 dancers and an ever-growing audience. Performances will take place within the venue’s exhibition Hall C.

Natasha Stewart, Principal Teacher of Rhythm Nation Dance and Fitness, said: “We are delighted that, over the years, this show has grown in popularity since its inception in 2019. Making the move to P&J Live is an exciting step for us, and we know that our dancers will be itching to take to the stage.

“With dancers ranging from 3 years old and upwards, we have a wide spectrum of abilities and talent to showcase. Our dancers have been working exceptionally hard to pull together a fantastic show, and we can’t wait for everyone to discover what we’ve created.”

Louise Stewart, Head of Exhibitions, Entertainment & Marketing at P&J Live, said: “We are pleased to welcome Rhythm Nation’s dancers to the venue. Having qualified and competed at the UDO World Street Dance Championships previously, this dance troupe are a talented bunch. If you’re looking for an entertaining show, jam-packed with magical movie moments, this fits the bill.”

Tickets start from £24 per person + fees and will go on sale soon on www.ticketmaster.co.uk
