This week, 30 artists from Stonehaven Art Club will be exhibiting in the Upper Town Hall from Saturday 27th July to Sunday 4th August. Original paintings, prints and cards will be on sale.
Except for 2020, the club has held an annual exhibition since its inception. This is a special year for the Club as it celebrates 50 years of exhibiting and, to mark these years, there will be a display in the local library for the month of August, when artwork from founder members and others will be on show.
The library exhibition (in the window and also upstairs), will display historical memoirs; reminders of past and present associated artists and fine examples of artistic achievements within SAC over the years.
With a current complement of approximately 60 members existing to encourage local artists via open meetings, demonstrations, workshops and informal sketch groups, SAC plays a large part in the Stonehaven art scene. Please come along and see for yourselves!
