THE following planning application was validated during the week beginning 19th May at Aberdeenshire Council’s Viewmount office.

There was only one planning application validated this week, for minor internal and external alterations to the Tolbooth Museum on the Old Pier. External alterations include roof repairs and repointing, while internal alterations include replacing plasterboard and improving pipe insulation. These alterations are described as minimal, and complying with Historic Scotland guidelines and Aberdeenshire Council policies.
