The Mearns Singer’s based in Stonehaven have just returned from a triumphant tour of different venues as part of Orkney International Science Festival.
Under the Leadership of their Musical Director Irene Watt they highlighted the joy of singing and the part it plays in enhancing personal ‘well being’. The choir offer their grateful thanks to their sponsors Laurencekirk and Stonehaven Rotary.
Special thanks also to the people of Orkney for the warm welcome and for their support at our various appearances.
If you want to hear the choir in Stonehaven they will be performing a ‘Sing for Unity’ singalong concert for peace in St James Church on 21st September at 2pm – and watch out for the December date for their Christmas concert also at St James.
