SportHaven Set to Bring Stonehaven Together Through Sport and Wellbeing

By bellmannews / April 29, 2026

A new community event, SportHaven, is set to energise Stonehaven on Saturday 2nd May (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM), offering residents of all ages the chance to explore, experience, and engage with the town’s vibrant sporting and wellness community.

Designed as a celebration of sport, health, and connection, SportHaven will transform Stonehaven Town Hall into a central hub where local sports clubs, fitness groups, and wellbeing organisations can showcase what they offer. The event aims to inspire participation, encourage active lifestyles, and strengthen community ties.

Attendees will receive a SportHaven “sports pass”, guiding them around various clubs and activities across the town. By visiting different venues and collecting stamps, participants can discover new interests while engaging directly with local organisations. Those who collect six or more stamps will be entered into a prize draw, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day.

In addition to the Town Hall hub, sports clubs across Stonehaven will open their doors to host taster sessions and open days, giving visitors a hands-on opportunity to try new activities and meet club members.

SportHaven provides a unique platform for local clubs and businesses to:

  • Showcase their activities and services
  • Connect with a wide local audience
  • Attract new members
  • Promote physical and mental wellbeing within the community

Organisers hope the event will inspire people of all ages to become more active while highlighting the incredible range of opportunities available locally.

Local sports clubs and organisations are invited to take part by hosting a stand at the Town Hall and/or running a session at their venue.
