STONEHAVEN residents have an opportunity on Thursday to ask questions of Cerulian Winds – the developer behind the latest offshore wind farm proposals – Aspen Floating Offshore Windfarm.
While the turbines will float off Peterhead, the onshore infrastructure will be closer to home – landfall is currently aimed at near Newtonhill and Cerulian Winds are proposing a substation between the A90 and A92 before making a grid connection at the proposed Hurlie substation.
Details of the consultation event are below. My questions will be: Where exactly are you proposing the substation should sit and how big will it be? and What are your plans for community benefit.
