Applications to the fund can be made from any constituted community group, club, society, charity or other not-for-profit entity that operates and benefits residents living in the areas of benefit including Stonehaven and District
The energy company RES has established a community fund which support local community projects every year during the lifetime of the Meikle Carewe Wind Farm. The fund is administered by Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP) and managed by a Decision Making Panel made up of representatives from the local Community Councils.
The fund total for 2026 is £ 45,129.92.
The fund is open for applications from 1 July 2026 to 30 September 2026. The Decision-Making Panel, along with a non-voting representative from Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP), will then meet to consider applications.
