Children In Need Children in Need’s Main Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for grants over £10,000 per year, for up to three years. Check here to see if your project should apply. If you are looking for up to £10,000 per year, for up to three years, see Small Grants. The Mearns Memory Café A new, free monthly café for people with dementia and memory problems, their families, friends and carers is being run by Mearns & Coastal Healthy Living Network. The first event will be from 1.15pm-3.15pm on Tuesday 30th April, at The Venue in Laurencekirk. No need to book. For more details, click here. Free Radio Advertising for Community Groups Mearns FM are always delighted to help local community groups and not-for-profit organisations to promote their activities. The DJs are happy to help you prepare short adverts, or to interview you on relevant topics, all free of charge. Please email studio@mearnsfm.org.uk The Adamson Trust The objects and principal activities of the Trust are the provision of grants to help finance holidays, including respite care, for physically and mentally disabled children (aged 2 to 18 years), with preference given to those locally resident in Scotland. See here for more details. Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership’s Strategic Plan Are you interested in how Health and Social Care services are delivered in your area? If so, now is the time to tell Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership what you would like health and social care in Aberdeenshire to look like in the future. They are in the process of developing a Strategic Plan for the next five years and need your help to do it. The Strategic Plan will be built around 5 key priority areas: Effective use of Resources Prevention and Early Intervention Reshaping Care Engagement Tackling Inequalities and Public Protection Please visit their website for more information. The following items are currently available: Projector Screen PA System Flipchart Easel To arrange use of the above, please contact Margo at officesupport@kdp.scot Bags of Help Centenary Grants To mark their 100th year, Tesco have launched Bags of Help Centenary Grants. This new initiative will provide larger grants of £25,000, £15,000 and £10,000. There are two planned rounds of funding with customers voting for their favourite projects in stores during July/August and again in November/ December. The first round will be looking specifically for charities/groups promoting health, with priority going to those helping to tackle heart disease, cancer and diabetes. The second round of funding will have a broader community theme. Tesco is specifically looking for applications from charities or not for profit organisations which operate across the Highlands/NE Scotland. Click here for more information.
