STONEHAVEN’S tired Town Hall is set for a string of improvements, with the submission of an application for listed building and planning consent.
Proposed for the ‘B’ listed building are the complete re-wiring of the entire hall with associated light fittings, additional power points, fire alarm system and new electrical main supply/distribution boards.
The male and female toilets are also to be refurbished, with associated disabled provisions being made.
A separate application has also been made for full Planning Permission for installation of external light fittings and extractor outlets
It is anticipated that the works will start in January 2020 and take up to six months to complete.
