It’s the last Sunday in August so it must be time for the Stonehaven Harbour Festival starting @ 10.45 to 16.00pm.
This year “Splasher” from the Open Air Pool will again open the event. Below is a programme of entertainment and stalls.
The theme this year is “Save our seas”.
The money raised from the event will be split between the three service clubs (Rotary, Lions & Round Table) charity
accounts, with the funds being distributed
to local good causes.
Additions to previous years entertainment
programme include a demonstration by
the “Stonehaven Paddleboarding” group.
The RNLI and local HM Coastguard are once again supporting the event, with displays both in the water and on land. Likewise,
the local Sea Cadets will also display their skills on the water. Mearns FM your local community radio station will provide music
throughout the day.Come and see The Bellman at our stall and become a Town Crier, ring the bell and shout out your news.
