Another Covid casualty

see you in 2021

Scott Reid and Laura Craddock who have organised the Stoney Cares Christmas Lunch at St. James’s Church Hall for the past 5 years, have made the difficult decision to not go ahead with the Christmas lunch event this year. They say the decision has been taken with “heavy hearts’ and that 2020 “has been a challenging one for everyone and continues to be so. This Christmas please take a moment and think of those who are spending it alone and if you can safely do so – please offer them some festive cheer.”

Run by volunteers with contributions from many local businesses, this special Christmas lunch usually provides a Christmas lunch to those who otherwise would have been on their own on Christmas Day.

Despite this Covid casualty, Scott and Laura are looking forward to the lunch being back for Christmas 2021 and seeing all their lovely guests then.
