A STONEHAVEN woman has set herself the goal of walking/running 250 miles this month to raise funds for The Stonehaven Community Food Larder.
Nicole Taylor has experienced a challenging lockdown. She has had a difficult time with her mental health – even losing her hair in the process.
But now she wants to turn things around with her March challenge. Nicole set herself a fundraising target of £150 but has already almost doubled that amount.
She said: ”It’s time I did something to focus on me! And even better, to raise funds for the Haven Community Larder at the same time.
”The Haven Community Food Larder has helped so many people during this pandemic. The Larder is different to a food bank because it is open to everyone. Everyone can use it. Whether it is to swap produce, top up your shopping, your full shop, or even just for a chat.
”The Haven helpers do a great job and are a credit to our town.
”I hope you can help me reach my target.”
