STONEHAVEN’S Market Square has been evacuated and a police cordon put in place due to an underground electric cable fault.
No-one has been hurt but it appears dogs were affected and taken to the vet.
Police Scotland have asked that people avoid the area. SSE are aware of the situation.
Stonehaven Lions have cancelled their programme of events for the Christmas tree light up.
