Ukraine benefit music gig in Stonehaven

Stonehaven resident Daniele Minns will use state-of-the-art technology to create musical soundscapes from her body’s movements on April 28th at St James’ Episcopal Church.
Supported by Creative Scotland, this is the project’s first ever performance, and all proceeds will go to the Ukraine Red Cross Appeal.
Using motion-sensing sensors on her wrists and ankles, Minns will generate and affect sounds she has programmed via music software to create evocative and powerful soundscapes.
Also on the bill is award-winning singer songwriter Christine Sparks, originally from Glasgow, whose rich voice and warm presence will fill the beautiful interior of the church.
