After three long years, two of them due to lockdown, Stonehaven Art Club are absolutely delighted to shout out welcome and come along to our art exhibition. Bring your friends bring your family and enjoy the work of local talented artists. There are paintings and cards galore in a variety of media.
We are a friendly bunch of like-minded people who love art and have been showing our work since the beginning of the club forty eight years ago. More than that we welcome and encourage artists and the public alike to join in the wide range of activities which are held throughout much of the year. Experienced artists give talks and demonstrations of their practice. Tutors run workshops on the many varied ways of making a painting. Members support each other meeting up for sketching sessions in and around Stonehaven. You can also find out lots of information about the club by browsing our website which contains details of events, news and has a gallery of work.
You can experience the results of our hard work in the shape of paintings and cards from ink and watercolour to pastels, acrylic and oil.
Our exhibition runs every day in the Upper Town Hall, Stonehaven from Saturday 30th July – Saturday 7th August, 10am – 6pm daily. Sunday 7th 10am -5pm . Entry is free
