THE video recordings of this week’s Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee are available online.
The first video starts with a tribute by the Committee Chair Councillor Wendy Agnew to Her Majesty the Late Queen Elizabeth II.
The business of the day includes the discussion on the proposed trial of a hybrid booking system for Stonehaven and Macduff starting at 39 minutes.
The second video starts with a presentation on the planned business park at East Newtonleys – planning permission has been granted in principle with the Area Committee being asked to agree details on aspects of the planning conditions.
Please note there is no sound for the first two and a half minutes.
Footpaths come up at 21 minutes and the cycleway at 29 minutes. Cllr Dawn Black raises the issue of charging points at 38:30 minutes. After all points were examined, the application was granted full planning permission.
The proposals for a two bay car wash at the Mill Inn make for interesting listening as there is a split amongst councillors. Cllr Wendy Agnew proposed refusing permission while Cllr Dawn Black put forward an amendment to approve planning permission subject to a time limit on operating hours to 9pm. The vote is at 1:23:00.
