A DRAFT autism strategy appears the main item of discussion for councillors when the Kincardine and Mearns Area Committee meets tomorrow.
The Aberdeenshire Autism Strategy is a five year strategy showing the local authority’s commitment to autistic children and young people, adults, older adults and their families and unpaid carers. The draft document follows a recent engagement and is presented to the committee for their consideration and comment.
Also on the agenda is the arrangements for the appointment of a new area manager. Bruce Stewart, the current Kincardine and Mearns area manager is retiring from the post on 1 May 2023.
The committee meets tomorrow Tuesday March 21 at Viewmount Chambers – it is open to the public. A recording will be uploaded after the meeting. The full agenda and associated papers are available online.
