… and the Queen Elizabeth Caravan Park and our land train?
I’m sure many of you walk past the elegant building which was vacated by the judiciary back in 2015 – and now hosts our Citizen’s Advice Bureau along other local charities and businesses – as well as providing a meeting place for our community council.
And no-one can fail to notice the non-stop presence of mobile holidaymakers at the caravan park, which is a top-quality amenity thanks to a £1.7 million investment by the current operators, the Caravan Club.
As for the land train – everyone enjoys seeing it on a summer’s day.

These community assets are owned on our behalf by Stonehaven Town Partnership, STP, a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Institution and an umbrella organisation existing to ‘prioritise, develop, initiate, lead or support key projects in the town’.
Meet the team
It takes a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to reach the kind of successful outcomes just mentioned.
If you would like to meet the small team playing such a big role in Stonehaven’s vibrancy then you are welcome to join the trustees of Stonehaven Town Partnership in their 2024 Annual General Meeting, which will be held on Wednesday 1st May in the Old Sheriff Court House at 7.00 p.m.
Who knows what exciting project might be next in their sights?
