Stonehaven Indoor Bowling Club is conducting a feasibility study to renovate our stadium.
During the Participatory Budget process we put together a proposal that would re-fit our stadium and create community usage space for groups using the Recreation Grounds and so the Grounds could host bigger events in the future, thus helping to secure the Indoor Club and Recreation Grounds future, while also providing a new asset for Stonehaven.
Having been unsuccessful with the PB vote, we have begun to revisit this proposal and have begun to look into funding sources and what we need to do to maximise the project. To this end we require the people of Stonehaven’s help with some questions around being able to book space for events within Stonehaven at present.
