The Hillhead of Auquhirie Wind Farm Community Fund is now open for applications until 30 June 2025.
The Hillhead of Auquhirie Community Benefit Fund was established in 2014 to support local community groups and projects. Funding is available for the benefit of the communities living in the Community Council areas of: Arbuthnott; Catterline, Kinneff & Dunnottar; Mearns; and Stonehaven & District.
Administered by the Kincardineshire Development Partnership (KDP), applications to the fund are assessed by a Decision-Making panel made up of representatives from all four Community Council areas.
The fund is available annually for the lifetime of the wind farm which is provided by current owners Octopus Investments. This year there is £16,217.67 available for distribution.
