Stagecoach confirms timetable and route updates across North Scotland

  • New trial service 737 links Blackburn, Aberdeen Airport and Dyce Rail Station, while Services 10 and M96 offer buses every 30 minutes between Aberdeen and Inverness with stops at Dalcross Rail Station and Eastgate

Stagecoach North Scotland have confirmed timetable and route updates across Aberdeenshire, Buchan, Inverness and Moray areas planned to take place from Monday 7th July 2025.

New late night services will operate the N8 from Aberdeen to Stonehaven and Portlethen on Friday and Saturday nights.


Popular commuter routes such as the Aberdeen Airport 727 are being extended to Portlethen and Stonehaven including links to the P&J Live events venue, replacing the former X9, while a new trial service Aberdeen Airport 737 will link Blackburn, Aberdeen Airport, and Dyce Rail Station.

Several service including the 10 and M96 have been restructured to offer a bus every 30 minutes between Aberdeen and Inverness Airport, with improved access to the airport and new stops at Dalcross Rail Station and Eastgate. 

These changes aim to better connect local communities, enhance weekend travel options, and improve regional journey times while maintaining accessibility across key corridors from Aberdeen to Inverness, Fraserburgh, Peterhead and Moray.
