A NEW chair person is to be elected at tomorrow evening’s meeting of Stonehaven and District Community Councillor.
David Lawman has been chairing the Community Council since June 2022. His decision to step down will no doubt have caused a few members to consider either their own willingness to take on the role, or who they think would be best suited for the task.
Coming to grips with the increasing pressure of tourism is just one of the topics up for discussion – and possibly positive action – with SDCC having already indicated a willingness to consider taking over the operation of the beach toilets on a trial basis.
Options for coach parking and for motorhomes will also be looked at.
