My name is Kerri and I have recently started a small business called The Sunflower Book Stop in Stonehaven.
The business is in partnership with Usborne. We sell beautiful books, jigsaws games and more. I joined because I have a love of books and to help me meet new people in the area.
My son’s school have kindly allowed me to run a Community Book Pledge where we ask the local community and local businesses to pledge money towards an initiative to purchase books for Mill O’ Forest Primary School.
Usborne’s Community Book Pledge is a nationwide initiative to help schools and nurseries across the UK and Europe benefit from more books, boosting literacy levels through encouraging reading for pleasure.
With the help of local businesses, thousands of schools across the UK and Europe have been able to fill their libraries and classroom bookshelves and raise a new generation of confident and engaged readers. We would love your support to do the same for our school.
Usborne are dedicated to helping schools and offer great benefits. For £120 money raised they will add in 10% free books; £250-£599.99 worth they can add 30% in free books; and if more than £600 is raised Usborne can donate 60% of the value in free books towards the school.
