Votes Needed for Cash Boost

Local charities are looking to benefit from the Just Transition PB Fund that gives cash to those groups gaining the most votes.

Public voting for applications in the Just Transition Paritipatory Budgeting Fund opened today – and several charities local to the Stonehaven area are included in the list of finalists.

Mearns FM are looking to replace the petrol generator that they use for supporting community events with a battery power station, while Oakley ASN want to install two EV chargers for their electric minibus which helps children with Additional Support Needs and their families get to activities. 

The Scottish Government has given the North East of Scotland and Moray £1million to support green projects that will help contribute towards our journey to net zero.
