Our Pre‑school group proudly hosted a Burns Supper celebration afternoon for their families, as well as for the ante pre‑school children and their families, on Thursday 22nd January.
Throughout the celebration, the children explored Scottish culture, traditions, and music while tasting a selection of traditional foods, including haggis, neeps and tatties, tattie and leek soup, and shortbread. One of the highlights of the day was the children’s enthusiastic ceilidh dancing.
The event was made even more special by a live performance from Jessica, a Highland dancer from Lauren Kate’s School of Dance, and Tain, a piper from Dunnottar Pipes and Drums. Their performances offered children and families a memorable opportunity to experience Scottish dance and piping up close.
